Yes, that could be a legitimate abbreviation of “photographs”, but somehow I doubt that was the intention.

This is from the veterinary hospital I work at, where the guy who’s in charge of labeling everything can’t spell or punctuate for shit. The hospital is riddled with spelling errors, but here’s one for you – apostrophe abuse AND he spelled “oncology” wrong. The supply room (or should I say “supply’s room” has multiple copies of this sign posted everywhere, along with “surgery supply’s.” I mean, really? Can’t spell oncology in a hospital that specializes in oncology? Nice.
