AAAAGH! And to add insult to injury, why not grab a portion of nugget’s and bean’s?
The English can’t punctuate for toffee (or chips and beans, for that matter)

I walk past this every day on my walk home and I’m always tempted to erase that apostrophe. Sadly, there’s always someone around to see me.
If you don’t know where it goes…
I guess the sign writer figured that if you don’t know where to put the apostrophe, it would be better to leave it out. He (or she) got it right in the small print, though.
Apostrophe Neglect: Doctors Orders
Looking for a meal on Thursday night, I passed this place. Couldn’t bring myself to eat at a diner where they have no regard for an apostrophe.
No wonder the Rose’s are so cheap…
I’ve driven past this sign on the Long Island Expressway’s service road in Queens for years now and the only change has been the cost. There are at least three awesome things about the sign:
1) The unnecessary apostrophe in “Rose’s”
2) The missing apostrophe in the contraction of “we are” changing it to the past tense state-of-being verb “were”
3) The hilarity of the sign even if it was grammatically correct

I have to look at this every day as I enter my office. UGH!
