This is a screen capture from the Lifetime channel promoting the movie “Did You Hear About the Morgans?”

Not even a mistake from a seemingly ‘complex’ use of apostrophe – but is teaching our youth from a very young age (garment was a onesie suitable for infants) incorrect punctuation! How can we ever expect them to catch up with this kind of rubbish littering the public space.

Unless your Nana’s name is ‘Love’ in which case it seems there is a word missing, “My Nanna Love’s hurting me” (not to mention incorrect capitalisation).

Or “My Nanna Love’s house smells” (missing a few extra letters too).

Or you are your Nanna and that is just even more confusing.

I do love the food in this place, but every time I eat there I always have to fight the urge to point out the glaring mistake on the children’s menu.  I just don’t have the heart to tell them that they need to reprint every menu.

This truck is owned by a guy named Recyclable Material, and he doesn’t want anyone else to drive it.

… completely ruined by the disrespectful use of apostrophe. Just because ‘Father’s Day’ has an apostrophe in it doesn’t mean you have to stick them in any old place.
